Preloved Teljänneito brooch bronze

Since ancient times, braided ribbons and knots have been cherished motifs in jewelry across the world. The knot typically symbolizes union, strength, or the bond between people. The sailor’s knot themed Teljä Maiden was designed by Mr Germund Paaer, the first Head of Design at Kalevala, in the 1940s. The beloved motif was part of Kalevala jewelry range till the 2010s. The bronze Teljä Maiden brooch is 32 mm wide and has a stainless steel pin.
