The ornamental patterns of this brooch, the cross and the palmette motifs originating in ancient Greece, were copied from a beautifully crafted silver brooch dating from the 12th century. The brooch was part of the Kalevala jewelry range from the 1930s till the early 2000s. Diameter 46 mm. Bronze, stainless steel pin.
