The Story
Kalevala Jewelry realized a series of opera-themed jewelry in cooperation with the Savonlinna Opera Festival in 2003-2007. Hoffmann's stories, designed by Kirsti Doukas, was the second in the series. The series, announced in the summer of 2004, was inspired by Jacques Offenbach's opera of the same name and its three female characters, whose character is symbolized by the colors and patterns of the glass reliefs in the jewelry. Bean chain 50 cm, parrot lock.
