The Story
The sculptural Männyt (Finnish for pines) pendant is made of warmly glowing bronze. The pendant has an organic, softly undulating shape. The interplay between the polished bronze surface and rough details creates an appealing tension in the piece. The reverse side of the pendant is hollow. There is no bail on the pendant. The square anchor chain has an adjustable length of 42/45/50 cm and features a lobster clasp.
The Männyt jewelry series is designed by Finnish jewelry designer Ildar Wafin. The talented young designer has achieved success in international fashion competitions and was awarded the Young Talent prize at the Finnish Fashion Awards in 2024. Wafin's collection draws inspiration from the pine trees growing in the archipelago, their resilience, and rugged beauty.
